Safety technical measures for ventilation duct sewing in tunneling
**Material Preparation**
1. Disassemble the air duct measuring over 1.5 meters in length.
2. Required tools include needles, thread, adhesive, duct fabric, scissors, a vise, and other relevant equipment.
**Safety and Technical Measures**
1. Prior to handling the duct fabric within the shaft, ensure communication with the winch operator; the winch's operating speed must not exceed 2 m/s. The operator should execute driving and parking maneuvers slowly, steadily, and accurately.
2. Ensure that the intercom system is functional and that power supply meets operational requirements; a backup signal must be available. When working atop the tank, confirm that the tank cap is secure and safety harnesses are properly fastened.
3. During operations involving shaft air ducts, establish barriers at both ends of the shaft to prevent personnel entry or objects from falling into it. Warnings may only be removed after treatment of the wellbore has been completed; site construction supervisors are responsible for promptly notifying when alarms can be lifted.
4. Implement fall protection measures for all tools to prevent accidental drops.
5. Any additional matters not addressed herein shall adhere to applicable regulations.
**Construction Sequence**
1. Conduct repairs on ducts from top to bottom.
2. The upper section of the duct may be repaired using adhesive following sewing procedures.
3. For sections where there is a break exceeding 1 meter in length on lower ducts longer than 1.5 meters, ensure they are wrapped securely before stitching them together firmly.
